Fashion Your FireFox

Now this is one cool link where one can Tweak their Firefox according to their lifestyle of Web.

As one can choose to be Social Butterfly (Facebook, MySpace, Linked In, Twitter) or a RockStar (Foxy Tunes, AllMusic.com, Fire.FM (LAST.FM)) or a mix of all.

Try it. One will love it.

IE New Accessibility Features in IE 8

Promises Promises Promises. It reminds me of the famous saying.
" I love deadlines, especially when they zoom past my head"

When I went to IE 8 new Accessibilty features (http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2008/12/10/new-accessibility-features-in-ie8.aspx), it dawned on me, that most of features they are promising us to give are already provided by Opera and Firefox and yes, in that order.

Add the system resources they will be eating up. It will be a total Browser flop.

Still, my choice of Browser will be Firefox(http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/features/) / Opera (http://www.opera.com/browser/features/).

Musarat Nazir :: Pakistani Singer.

I was listening to golden oldies (mera Long Gawacha) in my favourite player, AMAROK and then that player loaded the profile of the singer.  I was surprised to see that the singer is still alive and living in Canada.

Hail to the singer, whose songs, these are remixed in many versions, not to forget the awesome remix done by Mr. Apache Indian.

This post is the salutation to Old Pakistan Music.

Bill Gates Recommending Ubuntu.

This was awesome. I was surfing and searching for the tips and tricks in Ubuntu and came across an awesome advert about Bill Gates (Owner of Microsoft) recommending Ubuntu.

Movie Review :: Death Race

I was watching a movie last night.

Death Race
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Death-Race/14051860899?ref=s

This movie reminded me of the game I used to play back in the Dial Up days. The name of the game was "Death Rally". I wonder whether or not there is any game by the name of Death Rally. Got to do some search on it.

Just found out the game. Here are the links.

The game is simple and yes it's pre reqs are also quite simple compared to these days. Will be planning to download and try this game to relish the good old days.

Awesome Movie.

What is the best Media Player in Windows...

I have tried loads of Media players. Latest one coming up is Songbird. Which is Media Player, Lyrics Fetcher, Music Downloader + Browser (Yeah Full Fledged Browser) all rolled into one.

http://getsongbird.com/

This is what they say.

Songbird is an open-source customizable music player that's under active development.

We're working on creating a non-proprietary, cross platform, extensible tool that will help enable new ways to playback, manage, and discover music. There are lots of ways to contribute your time to the project. We'd love your help!

There are several features we're proud of, but we'll be the first to admit that others need ironing out, are experimental, or are just plain missing. There's still a lot to do.

However, after the marketing of the above mentioned Tool, the best I have ever come across is ....

Musik Cube.
http://www.musikcube.com/page/main

This is one player which bypasses all the existing media players. Be them Winamp, Sonique, Windows Media Player,

I think, all it lacks is the abilities of Songbird. Fetching the Lyrics and art works on the fly when playing songs. Rest, performance wise, it is quite OK.
