I have heard that Kubuntu is a lot like Windows. Well, I am about to find it out. Today, I just installed Kubuntu using this link, and it's quite straight forward. Just run the command and watch a movie in the meantime or graba cup of coffee as they say.
I used the small turorial from here to install KUBUNTU.

And it turned out to be an awesome fun.
All the applications runnung natively in UBUNTU are running in KBUNTU. Its so intuitive. It feels like you are running one car, then all of a sudden you change the behaviour, change the look from Porshe to Mercedes, and the effect on Performance..... NADA, NIL.
I have never seen anything like it in Software Development. Its simply Awesome. Home user computing at its best.
I used to think, OPERA is one of the well thought out, well structured, crafted Software.
UBUNTU / KUBUNTU is well thought out, Operating System. Simply Awesome.
